Samson Mow Says Bitcoin Treasury Companies Are Overlooked
JAN3 CEO Samson Mow argues that Bitcoin treasury firms like Strategy (MSTR) are undervalued, serving as a buyer of last resort that drives prices higher.
Solana trades near $106 as a daily head-and-shoulders pattern threatens $80, while ETF outflows and rising on-chain use pull in opposite directions.
Solana (SOL) trades around $106, roughly 15% off its late-September peak. A head-and-shoulders pattern may be forming on the daily chart, with $80 as a possible downside target.
The weekly chart and on-chain data paint a muddier picture. Fund investors are redeeming via ETFs even as asset managers and individual users continue to build on the network.
On the daily chart, Solana continues to produce higher highs and higher lows. Even so, a bearish head-and-shoulders structure could be taking shape inside that uptrend.
The left shoulder was set around $111 back in late August. The head topped out around $125 in late September, following a rejection near the $120 resistance zone.
A right shoulder may develop at the 0.618 Fibonacci level, around $115. Falling volume since August adds weight to the bearish view.
If SOL logs a daily close beneath the neckline near $100, the formation would be confirmed. The measured move points to the $80 support zone, about 25% below where the token trades now.
The Relative Strength Index (RSI) is at 44 and climbing. But the uptick could simply be revisiting the RSI downtrend that has been in place since August.
One market analyst has spotted what could be a cup-and-handle, a well-known bullish reversal setup.
$SOL is showing signs of a potential trend reversal on the weekly timeframe.
A cup-and-handle pattern may be forming, but $125–$130 is the key resistance zone to watch.
A confirmed breakout and hold above this range could open the door toward $215–$220.

The key barrier is $125 to $130. If that area is decisively broken, the route toward $215 to $220 opens up, about 65% higher.
Under that outcome, the ongoing pullback would serve as the handle. A climb past $130 would likewise wipe out the daily head-and-shoulders setup.
Glassnode data points to the same money behind both recent rallies: US spot SOL ETF inflows exceeded 200,000 SOL per day on a 7-day average.
Those inflow waves arrived in late August and late September, lining up with the left shoulder and the head. After the rejection in early October, the flow turned negative.
Since then, the 7-day average has fallen to about minus 40,000 SOL per day. In dollar terms that is around $4.2 million, the most negative reading of 2026.
Roughly $4.4 billion in tokenized real-world assets (RWA) sits on Solana, stablecoins not included.
That total has roughly doubled since early May. Even with SOL's pullback, it remains just under the late-September high.
Issuers include BlackRock and State Street. Because these assets are priced in dollars, their combined value tracks network activity, not SOL demand.
Adoption by individuals is also increasing. According to Solana, 1.4 million addresses currently hold tokenized stocks on the network.

A daily close under $100 would tilt the bias to the bears and put the $80 objective in focus.
A sustained push above $115 would undercut the head-and-shoulders pattern. A weekly break above $130 would put the bulls in command.
The Alpenglow upgrade is set for Oct. 21 and could serve as a short-term catalyst. Developers anticipate the change will bring transaction finality down to roughly 150 milliseconds.
ETF flows are pulling in one direction while on-chain adoption pulls in the other. How much weight each signal deserves is something every reader will have to judge against these levels.
