Ashley Cole headlines BTCC-backed Red Eagle Foundation 2026 charity golf finale

The Red Eagle Foundation’s closing charity golf event of 2026 took place at London Golf Club on 22 October 2026, with BTCC, the world’s longest-serving crypto exchange, serving as sponsor. The day raised £34,750 for the organization.

Headline guest duty fell to England football legend Ashley Cole. Following the round, in which 24 teams took part, Cole joined Scott Minto, the Red Eagle Foundation Charity Ambassador and a former Chelsea player, for a Q&A on his career, from his route into football to the ups and downs along the way.

Guests also faced Enzo Avery and Lucy Robson in Beat the Pro challenges. Aaron James, a comedian, kept the crowd entertained and ran the live auction.

“Red Eagle Foundation’s charity golf days bring people together for a cause that matters, and we are proud to support them,” Alex Hung, Head of Operations at BTCC, said. “Closing the season with Ashley Cole was a real highlight. We are committed to supporting the Foundation for the long term.”

BTCC’s association with the Red Eagle Foundation goes back to 2024. Support in 2026 also included Heat 1 of the South-East Construction Cup at London Golf Club in March, headlined by Les Ferdinand MBE and raising £35,000, along with a summer series of three golf days in June and July. The Foundation’s golf events for 2026 had brought in £88,000 by July. Its work focuses on disabled, disadvantaged and terminally ill children in England, and BTCC is eager to see the partnership continue into 2027.
