Ethereum ETFs saw $2.81M outflows on Sept 29, snapping a 7-day inflow streak. Bitcoin ETFs added $66.19M.
On September 29, US spot Ethereum ETFs saw $2.81 million in net outflows. This ended a seven-day run of inflows that had totaled about $850.8 million.
On the same day, Bitcoin ETFs went the other way, attracting $66.19 million. That extended their run of inflows to nine consecutive sessions.
Data from SoSoValue shows the inflow run began on September 18. It came after three days of outflows from September 15 to 17 that pulled about $404.8 million from the funds.
BeInCrypto reported that those outflows coincided with the Clarity Act stalling in the Senate. The peak day of the streak was September 21, with $269.98 million flowing into the funds.
After that, daily inflows declined over the next several sessions, falling to $17.1 million by September 28.
Weekly data underscores the strength of the run. In the week ending September 25, the funds gained $689.88 million, their largest weekly total since late August.
BlackRock's ETHA saw the biggest outflow on September 29, at $8.94 million. Grayscale's Ethereum Mini Trust, however, recorded an inflow of $12.83 million, limiting the day's net loss.
Ethereum's price fell during the same week the funds were attracting capital. At press time, ETH was at $2,673.54, a 3.32% decline over seven days, per BeInCrypto Markets data. It rose 0.41% in the last 24 hours.
Bitcoin displayed a similar divergence between price and fund flows. BTC dropped 3.78% over the week to $83,359, even as its ETFs gathered roughly $3.08 billion over the nine-day streak.
Ethereum ETFs currently hold $17.79 billion in net assets, representing 5.45% of Ethereum's market cap. Over the past 30 days, they have drawn $979.69 million in net inflows.
This week so far, the funds have recorded $14.29 million in net inflows, a small portion of last week's total. Upcoming trading sessions will indicate whether ETHA's outflow remains an isolated event or extends to other providers.
