Game Changer 5.0 Zagreb, supported by A1, will be held at Zagreb's Z Centar on October 14. The fifth edition is moving its focus from what artificial intelligence can achieve to what companies will actually do with it.

This shift makes the event relevant well outside the technology sector. The inquiries now being posed regarding AI, automation, data, mobility, commerce and human behaviour have moved beyond niche tech topics. They now represent business and societal issues.

Who Makes the Final Call: Humans or Machines?

On the AI Transformation stage, Dejan Turk — CEO of A1 Croatia & Slovenia — and Siniša Krajnović — CEO of Ericsson Nikola Tesla — will examine what a chief executive can and cannot hand over to AI as automation increasingly erodes the boundary with human accountability. Josip Ćesić, CEO of Gideon Brothers, will look at how AI is changing mobility.

Could Humanoid Robots Become Part of Critical Human Situations?

Dr Bruna Gerardi, a robotics expert from Sheffield Hallam University, will be joined by legal professionals to consider the part humanoid robots might play in sensitive real-world scenarios and the concerns around responsibility and trust that come with it.

From the Internet We Know to Networks That Can Make Decisions

Web3 and next-generation infrastructure will form another key topic, as the main question evolves from who controls the data to who controls the underlying infrastructure.

Speakers include Joško Mrndže, former Google Regional Director, alongside many others.

What Happens When AI Becomes the Customer?

Few industries are expected to be hit by AI as hard as commerce. At the E-commerce / SmartCommerce / AdTech stage, Game Changer 5.0 asks who the customer is when an AI agent makes the purchase. Consumers may come to rely more on digital agents than on shopping themselves, altering the ties among consumers, retailers and brands.

Nikola Jovanović, Managing Director of Havas, and Kristijan Gregorić, CEO of Valicon, will discuss what the Croatian consumer could resemble in 2027.

Gamification, Hyperpersonalisation and the Question of Who Shapes Our Behaviour

The Gamify & Hyperpersonalisation stage explores how algorithms already determine what we watch, buy and see next, and what living in an algorithmic world entails.

Speakers include Andrej Levenski of Gamepires and John Newbigin OBE, a creative-industries adviser and former adviser to the Mayor of London. More speakers will be announced leading up to the event.

Where Are the Next Game Changers Being Built?

The Foundry Club – Investor & Startup Stage will highlight the upcoming wave of companies, with Alexander May of AWS among the speakers.

Game Changer 5.0 Zagreb is the fifth instalment of a conference that started in Zagreb and later grew to Slovenia, Italy, Montenegro, Switzerland and the United Kingdom.

On October 14, CEOs, investors, entrepreneurs and technology leaders will gather in Zagreb.

The ambition is to pose the significant questions before the future becomes routine.
