Bitcoin Defies September Slump, Faces Demand Test in October
Bitcoin ended September up 6.33%, but demand from ETF buyers has faded and long-term holders are selling, testing the October outlook.
@games launched Games Names, a TON-based NFT naming service that binds gaming achievements to names via SBTs, keeping profiles portable.
NFT-based names and gaming milestones are combined in a public on-chain profile, with rewards attached to the name itself so they follow it across wallet changes.
The @games platform has introduced Games Names, a TON-based decentralized naming service covering its own titles and those of partners. Every name of the @user type is minted as an NFT, giving the holder the option to keep, trade or transfer it. Pricing starts at 1 GRAM, with no renewal fee.
A single name serves as the basis for a shared gaming profile, built to aggregate achievements from multiple games. Because the connection between name and achievements lives on-chain, the gaming history is portable to a different wallet along with the name.
Titles within the @games ecosystem, along with partner ventures, will have the capability to attach soulbound tokens (SBTs) to a name. Those non-transferable NFTs are meant to log wins, attendance at uncommon events and further accomplishments. Holders can publish a public profile link, letting others inspect the name and the rewards gathered.
The attachment method for SBTs differs in Games Names. If tokens are tied to a wallet address alone, the accomplishments stay fixed to that address. A move to another wallet does not carry those achievements, and any loss of access to the original wallet also means losing command of the profile attached to it.
Within Games Names, rewards are attached to the NFT name rather than the wallet. That arrangement preserves achievements as a continuous record, which the owner can move together with the name.
Moving a name to a fresh wallet keeps every associated reward with that name. A sale of the name hands the buyer the full accumulated record. No single achievement can be transferred or sold on its own.
The setup keeps the profile intact: the name works as the stable identifier, while SBTs capture gaming milestones. Since the profile mirrors the name's own history, it covers achievements collected even before ownership changed hands.
Art. Lebedev Studio designed the @games platform logo, which appears in the studio’s official portfolio.
A $125,000 outlay secured the @games name. The acquisition transaction can be viewed on the TON blockchain explorer.
Gaming names are available for minting via @games on Telegram or at id.game.
Developed in conjunction with the Telegram ecosystem, @games operates as a worldwide gaming platform. Its roadmap includes Games Names, decentralized player profiles with achievements, first-party and partner titles, a game directory and rankings.
The initiative aims to support a unified gaming identity throughout the platform, letting users find games, compete under one name and gather achievements in one profile as the ecosystem grows.
