Gate's Proof of Reserves report shows total reserves up 5.7% to $8.688B, with the overall reserve ratio at 118.49% as of Oct 18, 2026.
Gate has published updated Proof of Reserves figures, showing total reserves climbed to $8.688 billion as of October 18, 2026 — a 5.7% increase over the prior reporting period. Customer net balances stood at $7.332 billion, and the overall reserve ratio improved from 117.26% to 118.49%.
For BTC, user balances grew from 21,116 BTC to 21,156 BTC, while Gate's own reserves increased from 25,466 BTC to 25,727 BTC. The coverage ratio for BTC moved up from 120.32% to 121.60%. ETH holdings by users rose from 350,840 ETH to 362,785 ETH, with the platform's reserves climbing from 433,589 ETH to 449,042 ETH. That pushed the ETH coverage ratio from 123.59% to 123.78%.
When it came to stablecoins, combined user balances across USDT, USD1, GUSD, and USDC were about $1.497 billion, while the platform's corresponding reserves reached roughly $1.746 billion. That produced a combined reserve ratio of 116.59%. The latest report also covers 500 cryptocurrencies. Major assets such as DOGE, GT, and SOL all maintained reserves above the 100% industry benchmark, with ratios of 106.76%, 129.00%, and 102.51%, respectively.
Gate continues to expand its Proof of Reserves verification approach. The platform was among the first in the industry to commit to 100% reserves, and it pioneered the use of zero-knowledge proof (ZKP) technology. It has now built a transparent verification mechanism that users can check independently, combining proof of ownership for hot and cold wallets, Merkle Tree structures, and user balance snapshots to bolster the integrity and verifiability of its reserve data and support long-term stable operations.
Gate currently serves over 62 million users worldwide, with support for more than 5,400 crypto assets and 12,800 stock assets, plus TradFi offerings like metals, indices, forex, and commodities. Through Gate Money, its global all-in-one financial services app, the platform is blending digital assets with traditional finance — connecting crypto, fiat, equities, ETFs, gold, bank accounts, payments, and asset management within a single account system, broadening the reach of its financial services.
Going forward, Gate intends to keep deepening its Proof of Reserves transparency framework, reinforcing its security infrastructure and risk management, and pushing ahead with a safer, more transparent, and more efficient one-stop financial services ecosystem.
