A pseudonymous X user known as “CyberLeek,” responsible for a string of recent GTA VI gameplay leaks, has released footage featuring one of the game’s main characters — described as its “first true spoiler.”

Forbes games journalist Paul Tassi confirmed this, urging followers on X to mute certain terms unless they want to encounter GTA VI spoilers.

The earlier leaks consisted of free-roam gameplay clips, but today’s content is the first to touch on the game’s storyline.

GTA VI leaker claims game is far from completion

CyberLeek reportedly posted on their own site that the GTA VI build involved is “actually recent,” adding that “the game is not ready at all.”

CyberLeek also urged supporters to keep backing their crypto token $CYBERLEEK.

The token surged from a $40,000 market cap to over $2 million after they initially released gameplay footage on August 18. By August 23, its market cap had reached $25 million.

Currently, the market cap has dropped 70% from that peak, and nearly 40% in the past 24 hours, hitting a low of $7.5 million.

Rockstar Games acknowledges GTA VI is incomplete

GTA VI developer Rockstar Games finally responded to the leaks today in a statement. It acknowledged the game is not finished and said the team is “heartbroken” by the leaks.

It added, “While it is unfortunate that the intended game experience may now be impacted by some spoilers, we hope that everyone will wait a bit longer to experience the game for themselves on November 19.”

CyberLeek’s activities also threaten to disrupt a major extended gameplay reveal set for this Thursday on Netflix.

Take-Two, Rockstar’s parent company, has been seeking subpoenas against Microsoft, Discord, and X in an effort to identify and stop the leaker.

A user who vaguely predicted the leaks claims Rockstar employees questioned them at their home. Those claims were met with skepticism after footage of the exchange was used to promote their crypto.
