Justin Sun's reputation in China crumbles as he posts strange claims about actress, argues with journalist, and proposes livestream height measurement.
For nearly a week, Justin Sun's reputation in China has deteriorated daily, and his most recent response to critics has been described as almost insane.
In that outburst, Sun proposed that he would undergo a livestreamed height measurement to silence those who mock his stature, and engaged in an illogical debate over what "decency" means.
For those unfamiliar with the unfolding situation, it is a Chinese drama marked by capitalist traits.
Roughly a week ago, Sun shared on X a long and odd narrative, describing it as both fictional and as truthful as he could remember.
The story centered on Chinese actress Jing Tian, alleging that she planned to donate eggs for surrogacy to have a child with Sun.
According to Sun, when Jing requested additional payment to proceed, he declined and launched a legal action to recover the gifts he had already provided.

Disclosing such intimate details of his connection with Jing did not produce the reaction Sun anticipated. On the contrary, mainland Chinese quickly condemned it, viewing it as deliberate damage to Jing's reputation and career.
Had Sun deleted the post then and issued an apology, there is little question that the matter would have been forgotten.
He did not do so, however.
After facing criticism from all quarters in China, including fellow crypto billionaires and journalist Hu Xijin (known as the "Troll King of China"), Sun justified his decision to make the story public and even granted an interview to a Chinese media outlet.
Although he stated he would let the courts handle the issue, Sun continued to discuss the story openly in a manner that would cause immense harm to Jing's career.
Justin Sunâs egg story keeps getting worse
Engaging Hu was a misstep from the outset, but when Hu responded with a casual remark about âhaving a chat in Beijingâ â apparently suggesting Sun would not dare to go back to his birthplace â the situation escalated dramatically.
Sun once again turned to X to publish an extended reply in which he debated the meaning of "decency" with Hu.
Sun proposed that older generations such as Hu's define decency as swallowing pride and adhering to a strict moral code, while newer generations like his understand it as contractual and as speaking up when one feels aggrieved.
Sun's response appears insensitive and disrespectful to Hu, with virtually no possibility of gaining traction in China.
As a final blunder, Sun proposed that because Chinese social media users kept calling him short, he would agree to a livestream in which a metrology institute would measure his height to the millimeter.
Notably, tall individuals have historically felt compelled to verify their height via livestreamed measurement.
Given his peculiar conduct over recent days, it is unsurprising that Chinese social media platforms seem to be deleting Sun's name from trending topics, pushing the saga to the fringes of public attention.
