Over $1.1 billion in crypto tokens from Hyperliquid, Ethena, and Aptos will unlock in early October 2026, potentially impacting markets.
In early October 2026, approximately $1.11 billion worth of crypto tokens are set to enter the market. Major projects such as Hyperliquid (HYPE), Ethena (ENA), and Aptos (APT) are among those unlocking new supplies.
Such token releases may create market fluctuations and affect short-term pricing. Below is a detailed look at the upcoming events.
Hyperliquid operates as a top decentralized perpetual futures exchange, built on its own Layer-1 blockchain. It provides high-performance trading through low latency, on-chain order books, and sub-second transaction finality.
On October 6, the project will release 3.75 million HYPE, valued at $340 million. These tokens represent 1.69% of the supply that has already been released.
According to an earlier announcement, the unlocked tokens will be directed to a single institutional buyer.
Ethena is a synthetic dollar protocol running on Ethereum (ETH). Its main product is USDe, a synthetic dollar stablecoin, while ENA serves as the protocolâs governance token.
On October 5, the team will unlock 171.88 million ENA tokens, worth $41.52 million. That amount equals 1.88% of the circulating supply.
Of these tokens, 93.75 million will go to core contributors, while investors will receive 78.13 million ENA.
Aptos is a Layer-1 blockchain platform focused on scalability, security, and efficiency for decentralized applications (dApps) and Web3 ecosystems. It uses the Move programming language to facilitate high-throughput transactions and smart contract execution.
On October 11, Aptos will unlock 11.31 million tokens, valued at $9.06 million. This accounts for 0.64% of the currently released supply.
Core contributors will receive 3.96 million APT, while the community gets 3.21 million and investors 2.81 million tokens. The foundation will also receive an allocation of 1.33 million APT.
Beyond these three projects, Aerodrome Finance (AERO), Movement (MOVE), and Babylon (BABY) are also scheduled for token unlocks this week.
