REAL Finance widens European access to $ASSET token via Kraken EU listing, targeting over €3.5 billion in tokenized assets.
Following its availability for eligible users on Kraken EU, REAL Finance has widened access to its native $ASSET token across Europe.
European market participants now have an expanded route to $ASSET, while the company advances its work on infrastructure for tokenized real-world financial assets.
REAL Finance, headquartered in Sofia, Bulgaria, stated that the wider availability follows $ASSET's current listing on Kraken and now reaches users via the exchange's EU arm.
On the REAL Finance network, $ASSET performs multiple roles.
Holders use the token for transaction fee payments, staking participation, network security support, and onchain governance involvement.
This growth in availability coincides with rising demand across Europe for infrastructure that backs tokenized financial assets.
A Layer 1 blockchain focused on tokenized real-world financial assets is under development by REAL Finance.
The platform's infrastructure aims to support financial products from issuance and management through distribution and settlement across their lifecycle.
Regulated financial institutions and infrastructure providers are also collaborating with the network as it constructs its European institutional ecosystem.
Among its partners is Wiener Privatbank, an Austrian bank under the supervision of the Austrian Financial Market Authority (FMA).
REAL Finance reports that Wiener Privatbank provides custody, reserve management, asset structuring and institutional distribution services within the ecosystem.
Through the REAL Finance ecosystem, the two companies aim to tokenize over €3.5 billion in assets.
The broader infrastructure project is designed to link regulated financial institutions, custodians, and other counterparties to blockchain-driven financial markets.
For REAL Finance, Kraken EU's listing gives eligible European users another path to $ASSET, as the company continues broadening the institutional use cases of its blockchain infrastructure.
Europe continues to be a vital market for REAL Finance as it builds infrastructure linking regulated institutions with blockchain-based capital markets, according to CEO Ivo Grigorov.
“Europe is a key market for REAL Finance as we build the infrastructure connecting regulated financial institutions with onchain capital markets,” said Grigorov. “Expanding access to $ASSET through Kraken EU gives more participants in the region a way to engage with the network as that institutional ecosystem grows.”
From issuance and custody to settlement and potential secondary-market use, REAL Finance's infrastructure handles tokenized financial assets, the company stated.
The overarching goal is to build an institutional onchain capital markets ecosystem for the tokenization, management and settlement of real-world financial assets.
Now that $ASSET is accessible to eligible users via Kraken EU, REAL Finance aims to pair wider token availability with ongoing development of its European institutional network.
The company's strategy stays focused on moving regulated financial assets and related capital-market activities onto the blockchain.
