Robinhood Chain saw $874.8 million in DEX volume on August 30, the highest daily figure since the network went live on July 1.

Nearly 95% of that amount was handled by Uniswap through three of its versions. Looking deeper into the data reveals that meme coins continue to drive the action.

How Cash Cat Set the Template

On July 1, Robinhood introduced its Arbitrum-based Layer 2 network. Within days, a single meme coin had taken the lead on the chain.

Cash Cat (CASHCAT) emerged as the first token to break out, reaching a series of new highs and dominating the chain's trading rankings.

The previous daily volume record of $846.8 million was set in mid-July, with 306,893 active addresses at that time. Activity then declined through the first part of August.

Late in August, momentum picked up again, and the resurgence brought multiple records. On August 30, the chain handled 5.5 million transactions. Token launchpad volume hit a record $394.4 million.

Real-world assets (RWAs) are also seeing increased interest. The chain's tokenized value stood at $51.81 million, with stocks accounting for $40.76 million of that. RWA activity on the same day reached $165.5 million, another all-time high.

Uniswap version 4 handled the largest share at $432 million, followed by version 3 with $356.9 million and version 2 with $40 million.

Pons Takes Over the Trade

According to Dune, Pons (PONS) topped all tokens on August 30, recording $67.38 million in volume, 135,566 trades, and 12,670 unique traders. Cash Cat came in second with $32.66 million.

Nine out of the 20 most actively traded tokens originated from the same platform, ponsfamily.com. PONS is currently trading at $0.328, a gain of over 370% in the past week, with a market capitalization of $233 million. It reached a record high of $0.39 on August 30.

Robinhood Chain's July high was driven by the novelty of its launch week and a token linked to the company's brand. The real challenge ahead is whether daily volume can sustain once the meme coin hype subsides.
