Europe's markets slip as investors wait on the Fed and big tech results
European stocks opened lower, with Spain's IBEX falling 1.1%, as investors positioned ahead of the Fed decision and big tech earnings.
Solana ETFs saw $19.16M outflow on Oct 27, largest since Dec 3. SOL trades at $101.87, near $100 support.
On Tuesday, October 27, US spot Solana ETFs saw $19.16 million in outflows, the biggest daily withdrawal since December 3, 2025.
SOL was trading at $101.87, according to BeInCrypto Markets data, and analysts have identified $100 as a critical support level. The token is now less than $2 above that threshold.
Only one day since the ETFs launched had a larger outflow than Tuesday's: the $32.19 million withdrawal on December 3, 2025, according to SoSoValue data. Another $8.23 million left on Monday, putting the funds on pace for their worst week since inception.
The $27.38 million in outflows this week has already surpassed the $25.52 million withdrawn during the week ending October 16. It also exceeds the $24.81 million exit in the week ending October 9, which broke a 14-week buying streak.
So far in October, outflows total $99.62 million. June is the only other month with net outflows, which amounted to roughly $787,000.
Total net assets have declined to $1.54 billion from $1.96 billion as of September 25. Cumulative net inflows have fallen by approximately $93 million over that period, indicating that the drop in SOL's price is responsible for most of the asset shrinkage.
SOL is down 13.8% in October so far, on course for its eighth monthly loss in 2026. Over the last seven days, the token has lost 3.7%.
On October 21, when SOL was around $106, BeInCrypto highlighted a potential head-and-shoulders pattern with a neckline near $100. A daily close below that level would confirm the formation, bringing $80 into play.
MCO Global Research identifies hourly support in the $98.86–$100.47 range, with a swing low at $98.62. The firm notes that a fresh low would strengthen the case for more declines, whereas a climb above $109.20 would invalidate its bearish count.

CryptoRank data shows that November has historically been a positive month for SOL, with a median gain of 15.3% since 2020. However, last November, the token declined 28.3% despite the newly launched ETFs attracting $419.38 million, their largest monthly inflow to date.
That historical data demonstrates that ETF demand alone did not shield the price a year ago. With the funds now experiencing outflows amid price swings, the ability of spot buyers to absorb these redemptions could determine whether the head-and-shoulders pattern confirms.
