9/11 claimants seek BTC seized from Chinese-Iranian mining pool
Families of 9/11 victims have filed a claim over 127,271 BTC seized from LuBian, saying the mining pool operated as an Iranian instrument.
Strive bought 3,311 bitcoin last week, pushing its total to 32,773 BTC and surpassing the 30,000 mark.
The Nasdaq-listed company Strive continues to add bitcoin to its holdings.
According to a filing made on Tuesday, Strive now holds over 30,000 BTC after purchasing 3,311 coins in the past week.
The firm's total now stands at 32,773 bitcoin, valued at $2.7 billion at current market rates, which maintains its rank as the fifth-largest publicly traded bitcoin holder, per Bitcoin Treasuries.
Companies such as Strategy, Twenty One, Metaplanet, and MARA each possess a larger bitcoin stash than Strive.

On Tuesday, Strive's shares (ticker ASST) traded a bit lower. However, in contrast to many other bitcoin treasury stocks, ASST has performed well this year, with a year-to-date gain of nearly 60%.
Several major bitcoin treasury companies have experienced steep declines in their stock prices this year following a drop in bitcoin's value. Some have been forced to offload bitcoin or overhaul their strategy.
Headquartered in Dallas, Texas, Strive became a formal bitcoin treasury in 2025, modeling itself after the software firm Strategy, which is the largest corporate bitcoin holder.
But unlike Strategy, Strive has not taken on debt to acquire its bitcoin. CEO Matt Cole has said the company carries no debt, has no margin requirements, and has no encumbered bitcoin.
As with other bitcoin treasury firms, the concept is that investors can benefit from leveraged returns through Strive's stock.
In January 2026, Strive finalized its acquisition of Semler Scientific through an all-stock transaction, marking the first time a publicly traded bitcoin treasury company bought another such firm.
Strive was founded by Vivek Ramaswamy, a former candidate for governor of Ohio and a technology entrepreneur.
