Three Token Unlocks Coming in Second Week of September 2026

During the second week of September 2026, roughly $325.6 million in tokens are set to enter the crypto market. Major projects such as Aptos (APT), Linea (LINEA), and Cheelee (CHEEL) are scheduled to unlock new supplies.

These token releases may lead to market volatility and affect short-term price action. Below is a detailed breakdown of each unlock.

1. Aptos (APT)

• Scheduled unlock date: September 11
• Tokens to be released: 11.31 million APT
• Current released supply: 1.74 billion APT
• Total supply: 2.09 billion APT (Y2035)

Aptos is a Layer-1 blockchain built for scalability, security, and efficiency in dApps and Web3 ecosystems. It uses the Move programming language to facilitate high-throughput transactions and smart contract execution.

On September 11, Aptos will unlock 11.31 million tokens. Their value is around $7.09 million, representing 0.65% of the current released supply.

Core contributors will receive 3.96 million APT. The community and investors are allocated 3.21 million and 2.81 million tokens, respectively. Furthermore, the foundation will get 1.33 million tokens.

2. Linea (LINEA)

• Tokens to be unlocked: 960.13 million LINEA
• Current released supply: 31.92 billion LINEA
• Total supply: 72.01 billion LINEA

Linea is a zkEVM Layer-2 scaling solution for Ethereum (ETH). The network offers fast, low-cost transactions while remaining compatible with Ethereum tools and security.

On September 10, Linea will unlock 960.13 million tokens, valued at roughly $2.75 million. This unlock constitutes 3% of the released supply.

Linea will retain 480.07 million tokens for the Linea Consortium (long-term alignment) and another 480.07 million LINEA for the Linea Consortium (Ignition).

3. Cheelee (CHEEL)

• Unlock date: September 13
• Tokens to be unlocked: 6.42 million CHEEL
• Current released supply: 813.4 million CHEEL
• Total supply: 1 billion CHEEL

Cheelee is a SocialFi hybrid platform that rewards users with LEE tokens for viewing short videos. It combines traditional social media features with blockchain incentives. The platform uses its CHEEL token for governance, content promotion, and advertising.

On September 13, Cheelee will release 6.42 million tokens. These are valued at approximately $2.24 million, accounting for 0.79% of the current released supply.

Cheelee will allocate 3.4 million tokens to the reserve fund. Additionally, 2.78 million tokens will go to the team. Advisors will receive approximately 208,330 altcoins. Finally, 27,780 tokens will be sent to a private round.
