Zoomex's September 2026 On-Chain Report: Reserves, Volume and TradFi Moves
Zoomex's September on-chain report details TradFi expansion, stable reserves ($34-38M), volume swings, and community growth to 82,319.
XDC Network chose Concordium to verify AI agent owners on XDC AI, adding on-chain badges, revenue sharing, and sponsored fees.
XDC Network has chosen Concordium to serve as the sole identity verification supplier for XDC AI, its agent payments marketplace, with the goal of strengthening accountability for AI agents engaged in financial transactions.
The integration, unveiled on October 14, 2026, enables AI agents operating on XDC AI to obtain an on-chain badge that confirms a verified person or company is behind them, while the owner's identity is not exposed to the public.
XDC Network is a Layer-1 blockchain built around payments, trade finance, and real-world assets.
Launched in July 2026, XDC AI lets AI agents find and pay for services in USDC with non-custodial wallets, using the x402 payment standard.
Through the integration, an identity verification layer is added so businesses and institutions can determine who is responsible for an agent before letting it carry out transactions.
Under this setup, agent owners can go through identity verification using the Concordium Wallet.
The procedure requires submitting a passport and finishing a liveness check run by an independent identity provider.
After that, owners connect their XDC wallets with two signatures that move no funds, and they register their agents.
Concordium then issues a badge that anyone can verify on-chain, while personal data stays off-chain.
As the announcement noted, revealing an owner's identity requires a court order plus joint action by independent Privacy Guardians.
Atul Khekade, co-founder of XDC Network, said the integration responds to institutions' need to know who is behind an AI agent before entrusting it with financial transactions.
He also said the verification setup lets developers prove accountability without putting personal details on the blockchain.
Boris Bohrer-Bilowitzki, chief executive officer of Concordium, said the ability to pay is not enough on its own to show who is responsible for an agent's actions.
He said the collaboration brings together XDC's transaction infrastructure and verification of the people or companies behind participating agents.
Concordium currently verifies AI agents on Ethereum and Solana; XDC now becomes its first full-network integration.
According to the two companies, agents can keep their current XDC wallets, code, and operations while turning to Concordium for identity checks.
That means the identity layer can be incorporated without agents having to swap out their existing wallets or operating setup.
The deal also provides for revenue sharing on every agent verification. Each verified agent generates a Concordium account tied to a verified owner.
Network fees are covered for developers, so they no longer need to hold CCD tokens in order to use the verification service.
The aim of the arrangement is to make verification easy for developers to use while giving AI agents in the marketplace another way to be held accountable.
Still, the announcement leaves out the financial terms of the revenue-sharing agreement and does not say how many agents are expected to take up the service.
The integration arrives as AI agents become more capable of finding services and making transactions with little direct human oversight.
In these environments, knowing the person or business behind an agent may weigh heavily for organisations deciding whether to give it financial power.
Agent payments in USDC are already supported on XDC Network's marketplace.
Concordium's verification layer offers a means of linking an agent to a verified owner, with the owner's personal information kept private by default.
The companies said agent verification can now be accessed via the XDC AI website, and developer documentation is available through its technical documentation portal.
The move broadens Concordium's footprint across blockchain networks and gives XDC AI users another way to verify agent ownership.
Wider adoption will depend on how developers and institutions build identity verification into their agent-based payment processes.
