Large XRP holders bought 470 million tokens worth $724 million in five days, while spot ETFs extended inflows, putting the $1.60 resistance level in focus.
Over five days, major XRP investors accumulated 470 million tokens, valued at about $724 million. Simultaneously, spot ETFs maintained their inflow run.
The surge in whale accumulation and institutional purchases has drawn attention back to the $1.60 resistance zone for XRP.
XRP WHALES KEEP BUYING

In just five days, whales accumulated more than 470 million $XRP, worth around $724 million.
Meanwhile, an inverse head-and-shoulders continues to form on the daily chart.

Analyst Ali Martinez pointed to on-chain data indicating whale balances grew from around 12.37 billion to 12.80 billion XRP. That climb represents over 470 million tokens, valued at roughly $724 million based on current prices.
BeInCrypto data shows XRP trading near $1.55. The token has recovered about 28% from the $1.25 region, recently hitting a local peak around $1.58.
This recovery has occurred alongside an inverse head-and-shoulders pattern on XRP's daily chart, with the neckline near $1.60.
A decisive breakout above that level might trigger a measured price target of approximately $2, which is about 30% higher than the current price. If the breakout fails, initial support lies near $1.53, then $1.50, with a possible deeper decline to $1.46 and $1.32.
Technical analysts have also spotted an RSI pattern that historically preceded significant rallies. Still, confirmation depends on the indicator moving back above its key moving average.
U.S. spot XRP ETFs have offered additional support through institutional demand. SoSoValue data indicates ongoing positive weekly flows.
For the week ending September 25, these products attracted $75.59 million. Total cumulative net inflows stood at $1.79 billion, with net assets around $1.77 billion. The funds logged their 11th straight week of net inflows.
The uninterrupted inflow run started in the week of July 17 and lasted until September 25. Several weeks in that period had large contributions.
Bitwise's XRP ETF has been a major contributor to the recent inflows. On September 18, the company submitted a post-effective amendment to its registration statement with the SEC.
The amendment revised prospectus disclosures and included recent financial reports. Meanwhile, XRP repeatedly tested resistance around $1.60 after recovering from roughly $1.40.
👀 XRP IS REPEATING A FAMILIAR PATTERN

This RSI setup appeared before two HUGE moves in $XRP:
🔹 $0.18 → nearly $2
🔹 $0.37 → $3.30
And now the same RSI “pocket” is forming again.
But the signal hasn’t triggered yet…
🎯 I’m watching for #RSI to cross back ABOVE the yellow… pic.twitter.com/JzyMCXnh0o
The main question now is whether whale accumulation and institutional flows will reinforce each other. A sustained move above $1.60 would offer technical confirmation.
