iFX EXPO Asia 2026 drew over 5,000 attendees and 150+ exhibitors to Hong Kong for two days of trading and fintech discussions, networking and business meetings.
Held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre on Oct. 8-9, the event gathered more than 5,000 participants from over 130 countries, along with 150+ exhibitors and 120+ speakers. Two days of sector conversations translated into new possibilities across trading, fintech and financial services.
Among the companies participating were B2Broker, EBC Financial Group, INFINOX, M4Markets, ZFX, IC Markets, MetaQuotes, LMAX, Syphonix, Match-Trade Technologies, LetKnow Pay, Libertex Group, ACCM, Equiti Capital and CBCX. They represented a varied mix spanning brokerage, trading technology, liquidity, payments, infrastructure and digital assets.
In one exhibition hall, attendees were able to examine new technologies, connect with prospective partners, evaluate different options and take a wider look at the opportunities taking shape in Asia-Pacific and markets around the world.
During the conference programme, panellists discussed artificial intelligence's real-world uses, stablecoins' expanding place in payments, advances in tokenisation and digital-asset infrastructure, and the prospects and hurdles for Asia-Pacific markets, Hong Kong among them.
Still, some of the most productive conversations happened away from the main stage. Business Connect arranged curated one-on-one sessions for targeted commercial talks, and roundtables gathered professionals in more intimate groups to share ideas and work through common issues.
Evening get-togethers and networking events rounded out the programme, letting participants go deeper with established contacts and nurture connections first made earlier in the day.
For an industry used to working across countries, time zones and online platforms, sitting down in person still carries real value.
Exhibitors used the gathering to show their products to an international crowd, cement current partnerships and pursue new commercial prospects. Attendees, in turn, gained access to businesses, know-how and viewpoints spanning the broader trading and financial-technology landscape.
