Brandt: No Cult Required for XRP, Charts Are Enough

Peter Brandt says technical charts alone justify XRP ownership, no cult membership needed. Whale accumulation and ETF inflows bolster bullish case.

Veteran trader Peter Brandt told XRP investors they do not need unquestioning allegiance to support their holdings, arguing that technical charts alone justify buying the token at current levels.

His remarks come at a time when bullish chart formations, accumulation by large holders, and consistent ETF capital are combining to boost sentiment.

Key Factors Behind XRP’s Bullish Case

Peter Brandt, a veteran market analyst, informed his followers that being a certified cult member is not a prerequisite for owning XRP. Simply keeping an open mind regarding the charts suffices, he said.

His post on X sparked strong responses from a community he has previously clashed with. While his tone this time was more positive than critical.

It is not necessary to be a certified cult member to be an interested owner of a crypto $XRP

According to Brandt, his long-term monthly chart suggests potential price appreciation toward $5.40, derived from a resistance and support framework spanning ten years. He emphasized that sharing a forecast is not the same as maintaining an open position.

At present, XRP is changing hands near $1.52, having recovered from earlier troughs, based on BeInCrypto figures. Other market observers share the optimistic outlook. Ali Charts pointed to an inverse head-and-shoulders pattern, typically indicating a trend change, with a neckline at approximately $1.55.

If the breakout is confirmed, XRP could advance to around $2, a gain of about 30%. Trader Dark Defender went even further, describing a parabolic rally as unavoidable in the near future.

Are Whales and ETF Inflows Bolstering the Rally?

Data from the blockchain indicates that big investors are not holding back. Over a five-day span, whales accumulated approximately 470 million tokens valued at around $724 million. This buying increased their aggregate holdings, a development frequently interpreted as a vote of confidence.

In the meantime, spot XRP ETFs in the United States have recorded eleven consecutive weeks of positive net flows. The total accumulated now approaches $1.79 billion, with the most recent weekly contributions hovering near $75 million. These inflows remained consistent while Bitcoin and Ethereum products experienced varied or negative activity.

Momentum gauges are on the rise, and open interest in futures is recovering toward previous peaks. Favorable funding rates indicate that market participants are positioning for additional gains rather than declines. Nonetheless, October has typically been a lackluster month for XRP, which moderates some of the excitement.

I locked into #XRP.
A Parabolic Move is inevitable soon.

Despite these factors, the technical setup, whale accumulation, and consistent ETF demand combine to create a positive outlook for the fourth quarter. That said, a breakout is not assured, and analysts warn that resistance around $1.60 still needs to be overcome.
