CV Summit 2026 convenes in Zurich with global leaders to discuss digital assets and AI.
Zurich, Switzerland, Sept. 9, 2026 – On Sept. 29-30, Zurich will host CV Summit 2026, Switzerland's institutional digital assets and AI conference, bringing together global and Swiss leaders to discuss the future of frontier technology utility. International entities including Franklin Templeton, Ripple, Binance, BlackRock, Standard Chartered and Deutsche Bank are attending.
Switzerland became the first jurisdiction to establish clear legal frameworks for digital assets, and currently 54 of its 225 banks are active in the sector. This leadership also applies to AI: Zurich is home to seven of the world's top ten technology and AI firms, and 70% of the more than 185 AI entities based in the city are Swiss-founded.
Switzerland's dedication to technology reinforces its frontier reputation. The Crypto Valley hub, which anchors the region's blockchain industry, has nearly 1,800 firms and accounts for 47% of Europe's blockchain funding, per the CV VC Top 50 & Ecosystem Report. Additionally, Switzerland allocates 63% of all venture capital to deep tech, the highest proportion globally, surpassing China (56%) and the United States (54%) on a per-capita basis, according to the Swiss Deep Tech Report 2026.
This position also applies to AI. Switzerland holds the top global ranking in AI talent density, as per the Stanford AI Index Report 2026. Leveraging advanced supercomputing infrastructure, neutrality and international diplomacy, the country has emerged as a global AI hub and will host the official Geneva AI Summit in 2027. CV Summit 2026 is an official part of the Road to Geneva programme, preceding the Geneva AI Summit 2027.
“Institutions across the world are rapidly embracing frontier technologies to deliver efficiencies essential for global economic progress and human good. CV Summit unites the players and pioneers shaping what is possibly the biggest moment in time: the AI age.” said Benedek Orban, Head of Ecosystem at CV VC & CV Labs, hosts and organisers of CV Summit.
CV Summit 2026 takes place across three stages: Anchor, Catalyst and Deep Dive, plus a dedicated networking area. The content is organized around four core tracks: Financial Infrastructure, Tokenization of Capital Markets, AI and the Intelligent Economy, and Wealth and Asset Management.
International speakers from companies include Christopher Perkins, Head of Franklin Crypto; Cassie Craddock, Managing Director UK & Europe at Ripple; Catherine Chen, Lead of VIP & Institution at Binance; Dirk Klee, Country Head Switzerland at BlackRock; Marianne Webber, Head of Market & Regulatory Strategy, Digital Assets at Standard Chartered; Manuel Klein, Head of Market Management Payments & Digital Currencies at Deutsche Bank; and Vincent Gusdorf, Head of Digital Finance Research & AI Analytics at Moody’s.
Swiss leaders such as PostFinance, Maerki Baumann, Luzerner Kantonalbank, UBS, Zürcher Kantonalbank, Sygnum, GenTwo, the SIX group and ISP, among others, will also join.
CV Summit 2026 receives support from partners in Switzerland, the USA, Europe and the UAE. The presenting partner, Franklin Templeton, is joined by over 60 others including DMCC, Ephelia Group, Luzerner Kantonalbank, PostFinance, Ripple, SCRYPT and Unblock. Swiss industry bodies also participate, such as the Crypto Valley Association, Swiss Blockchain Federation, Swiss Fintech Association, Greater Zurich Area and Swiss Fintech Innovation. Multiple universities and the Zug Institute of Blockchain Research (ZIBR) will be in attendance.
CV Summit is Switzerland's C-level institutional conference on digital assets and AI, held every year in Zurich. It brings together global and Swiss leaders to examine the next direction of institutional utility, attracting over 3,000 senior executives to explore the growing convergence and impact of frontier technologies on economic progress for human benefit.
The agenda features over 200 speakers across four tracks: financial infrastructure, tokenization of capital markets, AI and the intelligent economy, and wealth and asset management.
Now in its 12th edition, CV Summit 2026 is an official part of the Road to Geneva programme, ahead of the Geneva AI Summit 2027.
