Dogecoin bounces off $0.0800, with ETF outflows and weak momentum persisting

Dogecoin recovered from $0.0800 to $0.084 on Tuesday, but ETF outflows and a falling share of large-wallet supply kept the recovery outlook cautious.

Key takeaways

  • DOGE was hovering around $0.084 on Tuesday after bouncing off an intraday low of roughly $0.0800.
  • Monday saw $399,460 in net withdrawals from DOGE-focused ETFs, following a week with no net flows.
  • Resistance is provided by the 50-day EMA near $0.0876 and the 200-day EMA at $0.0923.

After testing $0.0800, Dogecoin rose slightly on Tuesday, indicating some stabilization after a 5% slide on Monday.

The token was near $0.084, but ETF redemptions, a lower supply share held by large addresses, and subdued technical momentum continued to weigh on the recovery outlook.

DOGE remains beneath the key moving averages, so buyers are left to see whether nearby support can hold.

Dogecoin ETF outflows approach $400,000

On Monday, exchange-traded funds tracking Dogecoin recorded $399,460 in net outflows, according to SoSoValue data.

This followed a week of flat net flows, indicating softer demand across those products.

Redemptions can remove a source of buying support, though a single day's activity does not confirm a persistent shift in institutional sentiment.

Nor do the figures on their own reveal where the redeemed capital was deployed.

Santiment data show addresses with more than 100 million DOGE controlling 69.74% of circulating supply, down from 70.02% on September 1.

That marks a 0.28 percentage-point fall in the cohort's share, implying reduced concentration among the biggest holders.

Still, wallet groupings may include exchanges and other entities, and a smaller percentage does not guarantee that all involved tokens were sold.

Together with ETF outflows, these numbers add a cautious note to the near-term demand picture.

DOGE stays under key moving averages

At $0.084, the token is below the 50-day exponential moving average of $0.0876 and the 200-day EMA of $0.0923.

Those levels are the main resistance barriers in this analysis and strengthen the bearish short-term setup.

Momentum indicators remain soft: the MACD has moved below zero, and the RSI is near 39.

The RSI shows modest buying conviction but remains above the commonly used oversold level of 30.

The immediate downside marker is $0.0800, corresponding to the February 6 low. A confirmed break below that level could bring the July 23 low of $0.0683 into view.

Such a move would equal a drop of roughly 15% from support, or about 18% from the cited $0.0829 price.

On the upside, a sustained move above $0.0876 would ease immediate pressure, with the 200-day EMA near $0.0923 as the next major hurdle.

For now, the bounce off $0.0800 shows buyers defending support, but a more lasting recovery requires stronger demand and improving momentum.
