Should investors pick gold or Bitcoin? Michael Howell’s answer is to hold both. Bitcoin, he says, is “the most liquidity sensitive asset on the planet by far.” He suggests a volatility-weighted basket in which Bitcoin’s share increases as the asset becomes more institutional, possibly reaching 50/50 at some point. He also points to $70K as an important support level for Bitcoin and explains why the Fed under Kevin Warsh may keep liquidity from falling sharply.
