Hunter Biden Details LAPTOP Token Airdrop Before Base Trading

Hunter Biden has confirmed the launch of his LAPTOP meme coin and outlined the portion of supply set aside for community wallets, including those who lost money on the Official Trump (TRUMP) token.

The post represents his most detailed public explanation of the project to date. It was released on the same day the token is scheduled to begin trading on Base.

What Hunter Biden Is Promising LAPTOP Buyers

Biden framed his pitch around the laptop he left at a Delaware repair shop, whose contents fueled years of attacks against him. He said he has been sober for seven years and described the laptop as a symbol of recovery.

In a post on X, he detailed the tokenomics, stating that 20% of the coins will be airdropped to the community, which includes people who incurred losses on the TRUMP project. Biden claimed nearly 1 million wallets lost approximately $3.8 billion on TRUMP.

“You should not expect me or anyone else to make this token more valuable for you,” he said.

Another 30% is held under what Biden called a pre-programmed mechanism, with the project making specific conditions public in advance. Tokens are burned if those events occur, and donated to charity if they do not.

Reported conditions include a Democratic win in 2028, a new all-time high for Bitcoin (BTC), and LAPTOP surpassing TRUMP by market capitalization. A separate 50 million tokens go to charity regardless.

Previously, economist Peter Schiff called the president’s tokens legal bribery, with most buyers sitting on losses.

Meanwhile, replies on the platform turned hostile within hours. Several accounts accused Biden of repeating the practice he had condemned, and one directed followers to bookmark the post in anticipation of a possible rug pull.

“You just have PTSD from Trump, Melania, Kanye, Lil Pump, and Andrew Tate’s memecoins. All MAGA, btw,” Hunter replied.

Copycat Tokens Crowd the Ticker

As of press time, Biden has not published a contract address. Traders moved into that gap immediately, and tokens using the LAPTOP name now trade across at least three networks.

GeckoTerminal data shows a BNB Chain pair called Hunter Biden’s Laptop up more than 81,000% at a $20.29 million valuation after roughly 10 hours. A Base pair carried a $3.31 billion market value against about $1,121 in daily volume.

None of these tokens has been verified as official. Until Biden or his team publishes an address, every LAPTOP pair trading now carries that risk.
