AUDUSD pulls back after CPI-fueled rally, 200-hour MA in focus
AUDUSD fell from a weekly high of 0.7207 after hawkish Fed comments, with the 200-hour moving average now a key support.
The PBOC set the USD/CNY reference rate at 6.7811, higher than the estimated 6.7208. It also injected 353bn yuan via reverse repos.
The yuan is allowed to trade within a band of plus or minus 2% from the reference rate set by the PBOC.
