Ethereum's 6% Bounce Meets ETF Outflow Streak
Ethereum jumped about 6% this week but faces weak on-chain activity and no ETF inflows since September, with key resistance at $2,439.
XRP climbed above $1.30 while wallets with at least 1 million tokens hit a 2026 high of 2,147. However, weak US demand and slow ETF inflows could limit gains.
On November 4, XRP recovered the $1.30 mark, while the number of wallets with at least 1 million XRP tokens touched a 2026 high. The question is whether this points to a significant breakout for the altcoin.
Though XRP's price patterns appear robust, moderating US demand and reduced ETF flows could determine the token's next big move.
An address qualifies as a millionaire wallet when it contains 1 million XRP or more. The number is tracked because participants with big positions generally invest with a longer view.
Santiment reports that the number of these wallets rose to 2,147, a 2026 record. The increase was by 28 wallets over a 10-day period, with 18 of those added in the final three days.
Significantly, this expansion occurred while prices were relatively weak. That behaviour indicates that market participants are adding to their holdings rather than distributing them:
On-chain data suggests the network remains resilient. On November 1, 7,934 new wallets were added on the XRP Ledger, the sixth-highest daily total of 2026. That jump took place on a Sunday, despite the recent security incident at Binance.
Indicators of US demand have clearly weakened. XRP's Coinbase Premium Index fell to approximately -0.16%, its lowest level in eight months.
That level shows that XRP sells at a discount on Coinbase compared with Binance. In plain terms, US investors are less active than overseas buyers.
Spot XRP ETFs attracted just $18.83 million in net inflows in October, based on SoSoValue. This represented the smallest monthly total since January and far behind September's $121.40 million.
November has started quietly as well. On November 2, the funds recorded a net outflow of $529,510, and on November 3 there was no net flow.
Still, total net assets increased to $1.46 billion, and cumulative inflows held at $1.81 billion.
Meanwhile, XRP's market capitalization is approximately $83 billion, with roughly 63.35 billion tokens in circulation.
For the near term, XRP's next move will depend on whether accumulation continues. The growth in whale holdings looks favourable, but the slowdown in US flows could limit gains near resistance.
