Ric Edelman compares bitcoin buying now to Amazon in 1999
Ric Edelman likens current bitcoin purchases to Amazon in 1999 and expects the cryptocurrency to reach $500,000 by 2030.
XRP's two-week RSI fell to a record low near 33.5, sparking debate over whether the token has found its cycle bottom.
XRP was trading around $1.29 following a steep decline that sent its two-week RSI to a level not seen in the asset's 13-year trading history.
The unusually low RSI reading has revived discussion on whether XRP has reached a cycle bottom.
In a widely circulated post, analyst Cryptollica pointed out that the two-week RSI, now near 33.5, has fallen beneath the lows recorded during the 2018 bear market, the 2020 COVID crash, and the 2022 crypto winter.
XRP remains within a long-term rising channel that has steered the asset across several cycles. The price is now close to the lower boundary of that channel, a zone that has historically offered robust support.
Cryptollica argued that the market might be misinterpreting the situation. While sentiment has deteriorated and short-term price action appears damaged, the longer-term trendline remains intact. The analyst noted that few are interested in XRP when its chart looks this poor, despite such extreme readings often foreshadowing significant rallies.
EGRAG Crypto provided additional support, pointing out that XRP's two-month RSI has moved back into a historical area linked to previous bottoming phases, emphasizing that cycle dynamics are more important than the precise RSI figure.

📒NOTE: Forget the exact RSI number for a moment. Look at the behavior inside the green circles.
Each time, #XRP enters this zone, momentum goes through a similar bottoming process before the next major expansion.

Not all analysts are certain a bottom is in place. Technical analyst ChartNerd observed that XRP is trading between the 20-week EMA at around $1.29 and the 50-week EMA resistance near $1.52.
ChartNerd cautioned that a sustained weekly close under $1.29 could pave the way to the $1.00 psychological mark. Intermediate timeframes continue to show lower highs and lower lows, indicating ongoing consolidation rather than a clear reversal.
“Similar to failed closes above the 50 week EMA since the rise to $1.70, If $XRP witnesses daily/weekly closes below $1.29, the next support is back at $1.00. That’s how important the 20 week EMA retest that we just printed is. It has to hold or we dive,” ChartNerd said on X.

CrediBULL Crypto took a more optimistic stance, highlighting a bottom-zone pattern where relative strength has started to recover from recent lows.
XRP currently stands at a key technical decision point. The combination of a record low RSI, an unbroken multi-year structure, and widespread bearish sentiment has produced one of the most debated risk-reward scenarios in the market.
Right at our "bottom zone" so next leg should start soon and target is another 50+% outperformance against $XRP in the short/mid term.

We are already up +35% from the bottom where I shared about the expected outperformance beginning. https://t.co/wNenEW8iA5 pic.twitter.com/OUriCDj3As
Whether this RSI reading signals a genuine cycle low or merely another phase in an extended bottoming process will depend on upcoming price action. Maintaining the long-term channel structure would reinforce the bottom argument, whereas a clear break below $1.29 would turn attention to lower support levels.
