According to Cantor Fitzgerald, Securitize stock has the potential to nearly double within the next twelve months. The firm initiated coverage with a $21.20 price objective, which represents a 95% increase from the previous Friday's closing price of $10.86.

On Monday, Cantor began covering the company with an overweight rating, establishing a Wall Street valuation for the firm that converts stocks and funds into blockchain-based tokens.

Starting with $39 Billion in a $319 Trillion Opportunity

Analyst Gareth Gacetta positioned Securitize at the beginning of a lengthy growth trajectory. Cantor projects that approximately $39 billion in assets are currently tokenized onchain, which amounts to just 0.01% of the $319 trillion parked in traditional financial instruments.

"Tokenization is the largest overhaul financial infrastructure has seen over the past century, and Securitize is the public company covering most of that lifecycle, issuing, registering, custodying, distributing, and enabling trading of the asset under a single roof," Gacetta said.

Gacetta further noted that should the global financial system shift onchain, a significant portion of that transition would flow through Securitize. Independent data lends support to that view, even if the projected scale has yet to materialize.

RWA.xyz ranks Securitize as the top tokenization platform, with a distributed asset value of $4.64 billion, placing it ahead of Ondo's $3.63 billion.

The data provider records 1,877 holders spread across 26 tokenized assets, and monthly transfer volume reached $1.12 billion—a 178% jump from the preceding month.

Regulatory Shift Sparked the Rally

Cantor's initiation arrived when the stock was already climbing. The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) announced a temporary order on Thursday, creating a route for select venues to offer tokenized shares of publicly traded US equities.

That ruling alone had already pushed the shares up 14%. Monday's coverage decision added further momentum. The stock closed at $13.50, marking a 24% increase on the day, and hovered near $13.96 in after-hours trading.

The rally also dampened the implied gains. Calculated from Monday's close instead of Friday's, the $21.20 target points to roughly 57% upside. Securitize is now up 19.89% for the year, much of which came during the last four trading sessions.
