Bogota, Colombia, September 9, 2026 – KiiChain is expanding its institutional FX and settlement reach across Latin America, having onboarded two major Colombian financial institutions including state-owned Banco Agrario. The firm has processed over $500 million in volume and targets up to $10 million in daily transactions with Financiera Juriscoop.

Through two new agreements, KiiChain is placing its around-the-clock foreign exchange and settlement infrastructure under regulated Colombian financial institutions, among them state-owned Banco Agrario de Colombia.

The first deal is a partnership with Financiera Juriscoop, a regulated Colombian institution operating for over 40 years. Juriscoop adds institutional Colombian peso liquidity to KiiChain's FX network, enabling currency execution and settlement beyond standard banking hours. The pair are aiming for up to $10 million in daily transaction volume as the integration expands.

The second agreement designates KiiChain as an infrastructure provider for a joint initiative involving Banco Agrario de Colombia and Merke Plaza. Banco Agrario manages the banking relationship, fund custody, and compliance controls.

Merke Plaza is digitizing Colombia's plazas de mercado — the traditional market halls central to commerce in cities and small towns. KiiChain supplies the settlement, transaction data, and cross-border FX infrastructure supporting the banking, microcredit, and remittance services provided to vendors in that network.

Both agreements adopt a similar strategy: operating under existing institutions instead of requiring them or their customers to adopt new technology. Banks retain customer relationships, compliance, treasury operations, and products, while KiiChain functions as the underlying infrastructure.

This approach also creates further opportunities. Merke Plaza is part of a wider financial ecosystem that includes ties to Bancolombia, Davivienda, Banco Pichincha, and Coopcentral. Their involvement in the larger network provides a route for KiiChain to seek additional integrations while strengthening local-currency liquidity and establishing new FX corridors.

“We didn’t build KiiChain to sit outside the financial system. We built it to become infrastructure for it,” said Danyel Arenas, CEO and Co-Founder of KiiChain. “We already have banks in three countries running live volume through our rails. Colombia shows how we scale from here. Our work with Juriscoop and Banco Agrario gives us a foundation to pursue integrations across a broader banking network, including institutions such as Bancolombia, Davivienda, Banco Pichincha, and Coopcentral. More institutions, more local liquidity, more corridors connected through the same infrastructure.”

KiiChain's Atomic Quote Network (AQN) is at the core of this infrastructure. It adapts the request-for-quote model from institutional FX into a continuous settlement environment. Liquidity providers send cryptographically signed, time-limited quotes that lock in rates and execution terms before settlement, creating an auditable trail without forcing institutions to change their operations.

The Colombia deals follow KiiChain's wider infrastructure growth, such as its August connection to the TRON network, linking its FX rails to a major stablecoin settlement system. The approach across these integrations remains uniform: linking liquidity and settlement networks on one side with regulated institutions and actual financial activity on the other.

Having processed over $500 million, with 200 enterprise clients and 360,000 registered users, KiiChain is shifting from validating its infrastructure to expanding it across additional financial institutions, local currencies, and FX corridors in Latin America and other emerging markets.
